Sodium dispersion is the main reagent for Melioform-PCB installations

The main reagent for neutralization of polychlorobiphenyls in Melioform-PCB installations is dispersion (suspension of microparticles) of metallic sodium. The manufacture and supply of this reagent is carried out by NPO Decanter, and the price can be fixed for up to three years. In addition, this reagent can be purchased in China, EU countries and Canada.

Sodium dispersion is shipped in batches of 80 kg in a special combined package: a 100—liter container with sodium dispersion is sealed and installed in a 200-liter steel barrel, the free space in which is filled with a moisture-absorbing material - silica gel or its tax. After that, the steel barrel is sealed.

Since the sodium dispersion tends to caking, the kit of all Melioform-PCB installations includes a special device for gently stirring the reagent barrel in several planes. The sodium dispersion should be stored in a dry room.

Sodium dispersion is not subject to declaration, as there is a corresponding conclusion of the certification center.
